Overview
Ahead of Valentine’s Day, Trendhim needed fresh mid- and bottom-funnel paid social creatives that could drive performance without drifting off-brand. The campaign had to communicate two clear angles:
Gift-giving for a partner (female audience)
Self-gifting / “be your own Valentine” (male audience)
They needed conversion-focused concepts with strong storytelling that could hold attention and perform under paid distribution.
My role
Creative Strategist + Content Creator
I led the project end-to-end: concept development, scripting, shot planning, production, and editing—collaborating closely with Trendhim’s Brand Chief, Creative Lead, and paid social team to ensure the assets were both brand-fit and performance-ready.
Creative approach
Strategy kickoff (funnel clarity)
We aligned early on messaging, tone, and the purpose of each asset—what should build intent vs. what should push conversion.
Paid-first concepting
I developed and pitched multiple Valentine’s concepts built around Trendhim’s aesthetic—grounded in proven performance patterns and platform-native formats.
Efficient pre-pro, flexible execution
Scripts and shot plans were locked to keep the shoot fast and focused, while still leaving room for spontaneous moments and improv when better ideas appeared on set.
Premium-native production
I handled lighting, camera, and talent direction (Mikkel). The goal was clean, natural visuals that highlighted the product without feeling overproduced or “too ad-like.”
Edit built for conversion
In post, I prioritized pacing, clear structure, and cohesive graphics—keeping the creatives conversion-oriented while maintaining Trendhim’s visual standard.
Results
16 paid social video creatives delivered in 1:1 format
Average CTR: 3.22%
POAS: 89% (7-day click attribution, excluding 1-day view)
Top 4 assets: 100%+ POAS
A key win was introducing new formats the brand hadn’t tested before—those “riskier” formats ended up among the top performers of the campaign.
